Flexe, Inc. Software Development Manager in Seattle, Washington
Flexe, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Manager for its Seattle, WA office.
Job Duties: Drive large scale initiatives to implement successful enterprise or consumer facing software applications from concept to release and identify opportunities to scale our existing frameworks. Lead a team of software engineers to build scalable and flexible warehouse management systems and will manage project roadmaps to ensure that software development best practices are utilized. Execute the technical vision and roadmap of the warehouse management system and relevant APIs. Deliver high-scale service-oriented software solutions, and specifically leverage specialized knowledge in financial systems to help FLEXE innovate in pricing and payments. Work cross functionally with product management, project management, design, operations, business development, and executive teams to bring ideas to market. Telecommuting is permitted.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business or a related field
Experience Requirements: Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in each of the following:
- Building enterprise or consumer facing products, including WMS (warehouse management system), mobile apps, and cloud services to support such products
- Developing software using Ruby, Javascript, React, and Kotlin
- Software project management skills, including requirements gathering, timeline management, stakeholder management, and escalation management
- Using Atlassian software suite for project management
Overseeing software development projects and features from design through release
