Lyft Senior Designer in Seattle, Washington

Lyft is looking for a Senior Designer to join our Growth Marketing department’s creative team. In this role, you’ll work with stakeholders from across the organization—content strategists, marketers, illustrators, producers—and handle every aspect of the design process, from concept to production.

Your portfolio should exhibit solid design strategy and execution, and an understanding of how creative work can support business needs. You’re a team player, a clear communicator, and a goer-with-the-flow.

Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop engagement campaigns that include emails, landing pages, in-app surfaces, and more.

  • Manage project meeting schedules and timelines

  • Ensure all Growth Marketing creative assets support and reinforce Lyft’s brand identity.

  • Oversee creative work produced by agency partners

  • Partner with cross-functional team members to address business needs and find creative ways to meet them.

  • Present work and advocate for creative choices with stakeholders across the org.

Experience & Skills :

  • 4-6+ years of experience at a design studio, agency, or in-house design department

  • Portfolio showing a range of work across various digital media

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, short sprint environment

  • Experience in digital illustration

  • Understanding of design decisions based on performance metrics

  • Experience with responsive, mobile-first design

  • Proficiency in Figma & Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop primarily)

  • Strong organization skills and problem solving acumen

  • Basic familiarity with Lyft as a rider or driver

Nice-to-haves :

  • Familiarity with growth marketing

  • Basic understanding of digital analytics and performance tracking

  • Art direction chops and people management skills—this role may grow to involve supervising other designers who join the team

  • Experience with animation and motion design

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

The expected base pay range for this position in the Seattle area is $95,680-$119,600 . Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
