Develop and deliver on strategies to harden the security of Snap's multi-cloud production infrastructure. Design and implement security solutions that manage access to production data and resources. Conduct in-depth security reviews of new production platforms and services. Orchestrate security and privacy controls across the platform's infrastructure. Create automation tool for security assurance of Snap's production environment. Build security systems to improve user access. Secure distributed environments deployed through Kubernetes on cloud services. Evaluate technical tradeoffs against security and user privacy considerations. Be a champion for security and user privacy.  Required education/experience: Bachelor of Science degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field plus two (2) years of experience in Security Engineering, Software Engineering/Development or closely related experience.  Required skills: Knowledge and/or experience in: Development experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, Go, Python. Security knowledge of the following relevant domains and technologies: Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes. Experience in designing and building identity and access management systems. Experience in Secure Software Development and Security Threat Modeling. Experience with microservices architecture. Experience working with distributed systems. *Knowledge/experience means knowledge/experience sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Base salary: $104,000 - $166,100 per year. This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus award. This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
