Manager, Avionics Production Test This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to Earth's orbit and beyond. Engineered with a reusable first stage and a seven-meter payload fairing, New Glenn is building the road to space. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedication and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. As part of a small, hard-working, and accomplished team of experts, you will participate in developing space launch vehicles for various spaceflight systems. We seek a technically high-reaching, proactive, customer focused individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will prioritize, plan, and implement the environmental acceptance test campaigns for avionics flight hardware in coordination with avionics product development teams and environmental test labs and resources. Your team will conduct acceptance testing campaigns internally and manage acceptance testing at 3rd parties. You will own the acceptance test processes that govern box-level avionics test campaigns for New Glenn. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of a B.S. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace engineering (or related technical field with a strong bias toward electronics test and verification) 5+ years of hands-on proven experience developing automated test execution frameworks for embedded systems and processing large datasets to verify design and operational requirements Demonstrated experience building, leading, mentoring and managing small, creative teams on fast-paced projects to deliver results with partially defined requirements and changing success criteria Intense curiosity for understanding the details of our business and how to optimize it Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; ability to coordinate and manage simultaneous test campaigns for various units under test Customer focused, continuous improvement mentality. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing environmental acceptance testing of flight hardware in support of human spaceflight or high-performance aircraft systems (DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1540, and/or SMC-S-016 testing standards) Knowledge of systems engineering practices, quality, and configuration management systems Experience managing embedded hardware and software products across the full development life cycle Scripting and data analysis experience (Python, Matlab, bash, ssh) Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $136,620-$191,268 Other site ranges may dif
