Northwest Farm Credit Services Lending Operations Director in Seattle, Washington

We serve customers in 59 locations throughout the West. We are in search of a Director, Operations to join our Washington Lending and Insurance team in Seattle, Washington. Candidates located in Chehalis or Burlington, Washington may be considered. This full-time position reports to the SVP, Operations and is responsible for ensuring operational and administrative accuracy and efficiency in assigned offices through effective management and leadership of Loan Specialists. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period. Compensation Information The base salary range for this position is $63,000 - $109,000; bonus at target is 12% of salary. Geographic zone A, B, or C and salary will be determined based on location. Job Requirements Participates with other staff in complete routine functions, including reporting, processing customer disbursements and receipts, maintaining customer records and necessary follow-ups, and monitoring and completing accounting transactions. Assists in maintaining a high degree of credit administration by monitoring and maintaining an accurate database, overseeing credit investigation, data input and credit analysis functions of assigned financial specialists, maintaining a strong knowledge of key systems. Oversees administrative functions of assigned staff to ensure filing, administrative systems, and controls are well organized throughout assigned area. Assists State President and SVP, Operations with projects as requested. Human Resource Leadership Provide proactive human resource leadership to promote high levels of employee engagement, customer service, teamwork and productivity Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace throughout the organization Ensure performance management actions are consistent across area of responsibility and aligned with organization expectations Promote talent management and succession planning to ensure adequate and effective staffing through employee transitions Communicate and model AgWest's commitment to employee and customer engagement; actively work with assigned staff to advance stewardship and community service initiatives. Perform all duties and maintains all standards in accordance with organization policies, procedures, and internal controls, and ensure assigned staff follow organization policies, procedures and internal controls. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in business or ag-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Generally requires at least three years' operational experience, ideally in a financial services institution. Demonstrated ability to communicate operational concepts and processes to staff. Proven ability to lead by example as an individual contributor or manager. Ability to effectively identify, hire, and develop strong talent, and maintain a high performing team. Preferred Requirements General understanding of credit related laws and regulations.
