Carollo Engineer, Inc., is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities.We are seeking an Civil/Environmental Infrastructure Engineering Intern.Our infrastructure and pump station-based groups in Seattle, provides support for numerous one-of-a-kind water and wastewater conveyance projects supporting critical systems that keep our environment safe and clean. Our vision is to become the best water consulting firm and we are looking for motivated, talented people to help us reach that goal.
We are seeking an engineering intern to support Carollo’s vision. As part of our team, you will work on infrastructure projects related to the conveyance of water and wastewater to help create sustainable and resilient communities. The infrastructure team prefers in-person collaboration on their projects.
Responsibilities
Performing engineering work in water and wastewater pump stations and conveyance infrastructure.
Work on engineering planning and design projects.
Prepare reports.
Develop plans and specifications.
Prepare cost estimates for various projects.
Hydraulic system modeling.
Development of alternative analysis of design options.
Preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.
Qualifications
Highly motivated, articulate and self-starter.
Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work well in a team environment.
Have the ability to communicate effectively with peers and mentors.
Enrolled or completed junior year of civil or environmental engineering degree program.
