TITLE: Full Stack Software Engineer
EMPLOYER: Stripe, Inc.
DUTIES: Write software as a generalist both on the frontend and backend, using technologies such as ReactJS, GraphQL, and Typescript; Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Stripes engineering teams using Ruby, Java, and Go; Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as product, design, infrastructure, marketing and operations to see projects through to completion, including their large-scale deployment; Engineer payments integration with various financial partners software systems; Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation; Participate in on-call rotations, debug production issues across services and multiple layers of the tech stack; Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, system architecture diagrams, and user guides.
LOCATION: Seattle, WA (and various unanticipated work locations across the U.S.)
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 18 months of Software engineering experience.
Position also requires the following:
18 months of experience in working with Python, Ruby, React, and AWS.
18 months of experience in implementing industry standard design patterns.
18 months of Software engineering experience in building full-stack web applications at scale.
18 months of experience in building frontend Javascript web applications.
18 months of experience with database management in MongoDB.
18 months of experience in using SQL and related query languages to perform data analysis.
SALARY: $163,407-$173,407/year and standard employee benefits.
