Pacific Medical Centers Endoscopic Technician in Seattle, Washington

Description

Administers direct hands-on patient care under the supervision of RN and Provider. Assists the Gastroenterology physician and RN during diagnostic procedures. Responds to emergency situations as directed and per the needs of the patient. Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient and staff by complying with regulatory agency requirements and standards for the ASC.

Required qualifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Successful completion of PMC MA Module Training, verified by Trainer, Supervisor, Provider and Clinic Supervisor, resulting in PMC MA Certification.

  • Coursework/Training: Successful completion of the SGNA (Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates) Associates program.

  • 2 years medical setting.
