Description
We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support Fashion, Fitness, and Consumables sellers enrolled in Strategic Account Services (SAS). This Supply Chain leader will partner and support SAS sellers and their Customer Success Managers (CSMs) in optimizing inventory health and supply chain operations. This role will focus on supporting high-priority SAS Sellers through effective inventory management strategies, ensuring their continued growth and success on Amazon. The position requires close collaboration with SAS CSMs, Sellers, internal program and product teams, and cross-functional partners to develop and execute strategic inventory solutions that align with overall account growth objectives while maintaining customer-centric outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
• Partner with SAS Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to develop and execute inventory strategies that support Sellers' growth targets and business objectives
• Serve as the supply chain subject matter expert in SAS business reviews (WBRs/QBRs) and strategic planning sessions (T2Ts)
• Monitor and improve key performance metrics including in-stock rates, sufficient inventory levels, excess inventory, and delivery speed
• Develop action plans to address inventory challenges that may impact SAS Sellers' growth trajectory
• Partner with Sellers and internal teams to forecast and manage efficient inventory flows, including replenishment, seasonal, and removal of unproductive inventory
• Identify, escalate, and provide recommended solutions to systematic and operational issues affecting SAS Sellers' inventory performance
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across buying, inbound operations, and delivery experience
• Drive tool and process improvements to automate manual tasks and enhance efficiency

• Monitor and optimize inventory positions for owned product categories and sellers
• Collaborate with internal teams on supply chain program and product optimization
• Analyze performance metrics and develop improvement strategies
• Lead meetings with Sellers and internal stakeholders
• Develop and execute strategic inventory management plans
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives and process automation
Basic Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field
5+ yrs. of experience in supply chain operations, inventory management, and/or seller relationship management
Demonstrated success in driving improvements in supply chain efficiency, inventory optimization, and performance
Preferred Qualifications
Supply Chain and Inventory Management:
Expertise in analyzing inventory data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs
Strong understanding of supply chain best practices, including demand forecasting, procurement, and distribution
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for improving performance and reliability
Communication, Execution, and Relationship Management:
Skilled in resolving complex supply chain issues through effective communication and problem-solving with vendors
Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
Practical, results-oriented approach to driving supply chain improvements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $154,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
