SCHEDULE: Day shift schedule RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Nurse Manager is a supervisory position, responsible for department functions, staffing assignments and care coordination.
Collaborates with Assistant Director and Nurse Manager in managing day to day operations and strategic planning
Evaluates new employees’ skills, attitude, and philosophy
Plans, implements, and evaluates educational offerings to enhance the delivery of quality care and safe practices
Establishes effective work priorities, methods, and project flow
Participates in unit and organizational committees, taskforces, and work groups
Models service excellence in daily practices appropriately to emergency situations and drills MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
2 years of current or recent surgical/OR nursing experience
BLS
An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
