$10,000 Signing Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine Harborview Medical Center’s 3EH-Med/Tele inpatient unit has an outstanding opportunity for an ASSITANT NURSE MANAGER (RN3/ANM). WORK SCHEDULE • 40 hours per week • Day Shift

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION3EH (3 East Hospital) - Medicine/Telemetry: 32-bed acute care unit that works with a multidisciplinary care team to care for patients with a wide range of complex medical/surgical problems that often encompasses chronic underlying conditions, cardiac issues, substance abuse, and socioeconomic difficulties.

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM/RN3) performs specific leadership functions related to clinical practice, education, and/or management as delegated by and in collaboration with the Nurse Manager. As assigned by the Nurse Manager, assumes staff assignments and preceptor responsibility. Provides leadership for unit and departmental activities that promote : delivery of quality nursing care, effective problem solving and communication, and continued professional development for self and others.

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS • Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of WA • Bachelor’s degree in nursing • Two – three years of professional nursing experience, including demonstrated skill and preference for adult education (preceptor, unit based skills, etc.) • Charge Nurse experience
