Job Summary

The Marketing Manager works with the Regional Marketing Director to implement marketing programs for the account with the primary goal of supporting the account's physical marketing needs. This person will work closely with the RMD management team in producing marketing strategies and collateral that are conducive to both the residential, catering, and retail community's needs, focusing efforts on client and customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads in all marketing, advertising and promotional activities

  • Analyzes customer research, current market conditions and competitor information

  • Develops and implements marketing plans and projects for new and existing accounts

  • Expands and develops marketing platforms

  • Manages the productivity of the marketing plans and projects

  • Monitors, reviews and reports on all marketing activity and results

  • Delivers marketing activity within agreed budget

  • Reports on return on investment and key performance metrics

  • Creates marketing presentations

  • Monitors industry best practices and trends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: A four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field is preferred. In lieu of a college degree, a minimum of 3 years of work experience in marketing manager role.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of previous hotel or restaurant operations and/or related marketing experience.

  • Must possess excellent writing, public speaking, and presentation skills.

  • Able to speak or write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings.

  • Able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests and client.

  • Must possess computer skills with a working knowledge of website design and Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point.

  • Strong passion for great food.

  • General culinary knowledge of basic kitchen practices, protocols and procedures.

  • Ability to follow all Bon AppĂ©tit Health & safety standards

  • Work schedule/hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, some weekend and nights required for promotions and student activities.
