Salary: $56,448.00- $84,129.00

SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing the staffing function for Distribution Center (Warehousing, Transportation, Floral Processing, Resource Recovery ). Responsible for leading the hiring process life cycle including, posting, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding of new teammates. Partner with the HR Specialist to support teammate training and development throughout assigned area. Responsible for coordinating key FT and management fills within the DC and oversee the authorized posting process. Participates in recruiting, interviewing and selecting teammates for key high potential training programs.Responsible for assisting HR Specialist and lead multiple human resources projects and processes with a specialized focus on hiring, training and retaining.Responsible for all training activities and administrative duties pertaining to LMS compliance, advancement training and basic skills within assigned area. Manages overall compliance within assigned area for OSHA, I-9 and background checks. Ensures trainers are identified, trained and assessed in assigned area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitors staffing levels by department and working with management team to ensure a diverse workforce and appropriate staffing levels.

Manage the SAP applicant tracking system.

Ensure I-9 compliance with federal regulations and addresses improper completion.

Handles staffing reporting to key stake holders on a weekly basis.

Conducts teammate on-boarding with newly hired teammates. Oversees the process and manages career planning meetings, performs mock interviews and assists with resumes for teammates who are interested in advancement.

Monitors the training and performance of trainees and trainers.

Monitors and responds to GIS background checks then reviews and communicates as needed with DC Staff.

Oversees effective orientation, onboarding & training to drive constant improvements in the employee experience.

Supports HR Manager in communicating corporate programs and benefits.

Assists HR Manager in educating teammates regarding company policies, procedures and benefit plans. Assist teammates in benefit plan enrollment and utilization.

Display a high degree of professionalism, poise and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive employee issues.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.

1-3 years Team Leader or supervisory experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Walking Frequent 3-5 Hours

Standing Constant 5-8 Hours

Lifting Occasional 1-3 Hours up to 50lbs

The disclosed compensation range for this position is applicable within the state the position resides. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The compensation range is one component of Price Chopper/Market 32 and Northeast Shared Services’ total compensation and benefits package, which includes, 401(k), 401(k) match, paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and more.
