Zurich North America is currently hiring an Application Delivery Manager II and this person will work in a hybrid schedule out of our Schaumburg North America HQ. This person will report to a VP Data Management within our Chief Data Office.
Responsibilities:
This person will be responsible for people management activities, HR management of a staff of technical professionals.
This person will manage a portfolio of applications that are finance related in an agile scrum development environment .
Management of offshore and onshore testing and development resources.
The ideal candidate will manage expectations of the business and stakeholders, manage the relationships and expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Information Systems area OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Information Systems area
Preferred Qualifications:
SQL querying experience
Experience with ETL development and maintenance
Experience working with a 3rd party application vendor
Agile scrum or Agile Kanban background
Product Owner or Scrum Master background
Ability to manage business stakeholders, manage expectations of the business and balance priorities
Experience in the insurance or financial services industry
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
