What’s a typical day as an Upholstery Tech? You’ll be:

• Fabricating and installing upholstery, cover panels, and making simple patterns for aircraft interiors using design/engineering drawings and aircraft specifications

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering documentation

• Using measuring tools and performing basic math computations

• Utilizing commercial sewing machines, sergers, and various hand tools used in upholstery and carpet trades

• Climbing ladders and stairs, working in small restricted areas, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working any shift

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have experience using commercial sewing machines, sergers, and/or various hand tools used in upholstery and carpet trades

• Are able to read, write, speak, and understand proficiently the English language

• Can read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation

• Have the ability to use measuring tools and perform basic math computations

• Are computer literate

• Are able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift
