Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the Manufacturing industry, located in Sartell, Minnesota, United States. As a Staff Accountant, your role will be to ensure accurate financial records and reports, deliver efficient month-end close tasks, and assist with financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close tasks, including the creation of journal entries and reconciliation of accounts

• Manage fixed assets, including the assignment of capital project numbers, running monthly depreciation, and updating capital project spending reports

• Review and extract data from Concur travel expense reporting system for monthly journal entries for all T& E related expenses

• Set up new users in the company credit card system

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly census reports

• Execute tasks related to accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR)

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger

• Utilize SAP for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of the General Ledger

• Ability to prepare and adjust Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using SAP software for accounting tasks
