Skidmore College Program Manager in Environmental Science (Covey) in Saratoga Springs, New York
The Covey Lab at Skidmore College is looking for Program Manager who is passionate about environmental science, land management, supporting undergraduate research scholars, and facilitating core aspects of The Soil Inventory Project’s mission to build an accessible national-scale soil carbon inventory to support managers and markets. The Covey Lab is home to The Soil Inventory Project (TSIP), a national non-profit conducting soil sampling in agricultural systems throughout the country. The Program Manager serves as a point of contact for partnering farm managers and landowners and is responsible for overseeing the success of TSIP’s projects from initial enrollment through data analysis. These duties will include communicating with producer partners, overseeing student research teams in the field, advising students during independent studies, and ensuring successful operations of TSIP’s soil sampling program.
