Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist for our downtown Sarasota office. The ideal candidate will conduct 25-50 blood draws daily and must be knowledgeable about all types of needles. The work schedule can either be 7:45am-5pm or 8:30am-5:30pm with an hour for lunch. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for drawing blood, packaging it for testing, and not rooming patients. We are looking for someone who possesses strong customer service skills, has a great personality, is coachable, and is a team player with a knack for taking initiative. Experience at organizations such as Quest or Labcorp would be an added advantage. Please note, this is a fast-paced environment, seeing up to 50 patients per day per phlebotomist. The candidate must be comfortable working in an oncology setting dealing with patients who may be terminal. We also welcome individuals with plasma experience.

This is a fully on-site position in Sarasota, Florida.
Work Environment
This job is based in an Outpatient Cancer facility. The facility houses a total of 100 employees. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, either from 7:45am - 5:00pm or from 8:30am - 5:30 pm with an hour break for lunch.
