Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Medical Records Clerk in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. This role is within the healthcare industry and will require the successful candidate to manage various duties related to the maintenance and handling of medical records. Your primary responsibilities will include the use of different software like Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, and Microsoft Excel, among others.
Position: Data Entry Clerk
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Bartlesville 100% Onsite
Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-4:30
Duration: Temporary 6 weeks (could go longer)
Pay: $18-21/Hr -DOE
Retention Bonus to be paid at end of assignment!
Must be able to train onsite for 1 week at the Tulsa Location
Responsibilities:
• Manage and organize patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Use various software systems such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, and Microsoft Excel to maintain records
• Assist in the data entry of patient information, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data
• Handle clinical trial operations in compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Utilize Charts - Graphs for visual representation and analysis of patient data
• Maintain strict confidentiality in handling patient's information
• Respond to inquiries related to patient records
• Use Epic EMR for electronic health records management
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations in all tasks
• Monitor and manage patient records, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information at all times.
Please note that this role does not require the candidate to transition into a permanent or full-time role and strictly follows a contract-based employment type.
Requirements
• Proficiency in using Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, Microsoft Excel, Epic EMR as primary tools for medical record keeping.
• Ability to produce charts and graphs to represent data effectively.
• Experience in Clinical Trial Operations, ensuring smooth workflow in medical procedures.
• Knowledge of Compliance standards in the healthcare sector, adhering to all relevant regulations.
• Strong commitment to Confidentiality, respecting the privacy of patients' medical records.
• Proficiency in Data Entry, ensuring all patient information is accurately recorded and updated.
• Ability to understand and use medical terminology and abbreviations for accurate record keeping.
• Strong organizational skills to manage and maintain large volumes of health information data.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all records.
• Basic knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures.
