Kenvue is currently recruiting for:
QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST
This position reports into R&D Analytical Self Care to be based in São José dos Campos, Brazil.
What will you do
This individual will be responsible for the analytical project deliverables for Self-Care portfolio (Drug Products and Drug Substances) supporting Latin America in regional and global projects.
This individual will be responsible for the execution of method development, validation and method transfer to the quality control laboratory, and also for its related activities (test method creation/revision, change controls, support investigations, etc.).
The individual will also write and review technical documents including analytical method assessments, protocols and reports in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
Sense of urgency is needed to actively respond to problems and opportunities.
Communicate clearly with the internal organization (Kenvue Self Care related areas – Regulatory, Product Development, Quality & Compliance, etc.)
Collaborate effectively with project members following priorities, checkpoints, and timelines in support of objective.
Execution of lab activities (test method validation and transfer) to support projects as analytical representative.
Prepare technical documents related to method validation and method transfers (protocols, reports and technical assessments)
Communicate analytical leadership on issues which require escalation.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
Qualifications:
Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of analytical chemistry experience OR a Master’s degree is required. A focused degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry is preferred.
Analytical background/experience in instrumental analytical techniques (HPLC, UPLC, CG) is required.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable but is not mandatory.
Knowledge about method validation and methods transfer execution is required.
Knowledge about the regulations and/or guidelines related to method development & validation for drug products, drug substance and/or cosmetics is required for this position.
Strong technical writing skills are required.
Minimum intermediate level of English is required for this position (oral and written communication).
This position will be based within São José dos Campos, Brazil.
