Nvidia Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer, Capacity in Santa Clara, California

We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer based in NVIDIA Santa Clara Office w ho will play a relevant role in ensuring operational success for learning new testing methods and collaborating with relevant global MTE experts to turn these new testing concepts into usable ones for mass production. Represent the MTE team at SC to attend relevant capacity meetings and share the latest factory capacity information and ensure dynamic test capacity is available to fulfill the forecast timely and efficiently. In this role, you must be flexible, readily adaptable, work in a rapidly and constantly evolving environment. The ideal candidate will f amiliar with electronic products production build and test flow, have production test capacity sense and capability.

What you will be doing:

  • Work closely with US Capacity Planning team to maintain test capacity factors & mfg flow for critical bottleneck processes.

  • Support the upcoming roadmap execution and fast ramping of test capacity/test infrastructure in line with fast growing of manufacturing volumes in multiple CM sites.

  • Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and factory metrics including On-Time Delivery, Capacity Utilization, Cycle Time, Idle Time, and Inventory accuracy. Identify production gaps, root causes, and implement continuous improvement plans, via weekly and quarterly reviews.

  • Schedules and equipment(ICT+FCT) required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.

  • Support diagnosis and analyze test(ICT+FCT) issues at the board level product with hardware, software, and operations engineering teams, Assist and provide feedbacks on board level product debug tools to SC TDE team.

  • Help design tools to fully automate weekly capacity model, transfer related parameters TT/Rack/Test Position from VAVE DB to Anaplan.

  • Create a Capacity Plan/Forecast that is shared and published regularly to the Contract Manufacturers. Hold regular meetings with CMs to review test capacity plan, align on possible issues and resolve any inaccuracies in a timely manner.

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS in EE, CS, Automatic Control, IE or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of experience with test capacity planning, Contract Manufacturing or Manufacturing engineering.

  • Excellent analytical skills and hands-on with excel to analyze data - formulas, pivot tables. Ability to write excels macros is a plus.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment cordially and effectively. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, able to relate respectfully with others.

  • Excellent bilingual communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management and task prioritization.

  • Proactive and drive projects with a minimum of supervision.

  • Takes initiative to go beyond clearly defined responsibilities, recognizes obstacles and create solutions. Demonstrates ability to think and act effectively, to make tough and well-thought decisions in a timely manner.

  • Advance MS Excel skill with deep understanding of Excel techniques. MS Project, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools a plus.

  • Your experience in MFG test(ICT+FCT) solution, failure processing, and test program development.

  • Experience with running system level diagnostic tests and deeper understanding of the purpose of those tests.

The base salary range is 152,000 USD - 287,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
