**Job summary: The entry level Assembler learns under direction supervision to perform repetitive assembly operations and prep work for electrical assembly, mechanical assembly and the machine shop. Over time, the motivated worker has the opportunity to grow into a more complex role.
What you will do:
- Sandblasting
- Wire cutting and preparation
- Deburring and machine cleaning
- Battery pack welding
- General cleanup
Requirements:
- Effectively handle various objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- US Citizen or permanent resident is required
- Experience using various tools is preferred, including manual and electric tools, template/fixtures, hand carts, measuring and testing equipment, and prescribed safety equipment.
To be successful in this position, the candidate must:
- Have good interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
- Have a high attention to detail.
- Have the ability to work with minimum supervision.
Salary range: $18-$21/hour - several factors are considered when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, and key skills.
