Humanetics Certification Laboratory Technician in SANDUSKY, Ohio
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Role Purpose: Performs dynamic and static tests in accordance | | to government regulations, regulatory body specifications and | | manufacturing requirements. Dynamic tests are performed using free | | falling impact probes, accelerometers, load cells, displacement | | transducers and PC based data acquisition systems. Repairs | | electrical, mechanical, electromechanical equipment for conformance | | to established standards, and assists in formulating testing and work | | standards. | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Essential Functions & Responsibilities: | | | | · Plans sequence of testing and certification procedures for | | instruments (crash test dummies) and equipment. | | | | · Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to | | test, evaluate, and certify other instruments and test equipment. | | | | · Input data information and utilize data acquisition systems to | | perform system checks and data collection for ATDs. | | | | · Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components | | for defects. | | | | · Measures parts for conformity with specifications. | | | | · Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts. | | | | · Reassembles and certifies instruments and equipment. | | | | · Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair, | | and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of | | measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment. | | | | · May be required to participate in a Company's internal audit | | system as an internal auditor. | | | | · Other duties as assigned | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Other Significant Role Requirements: | | | | * * | | | | Customer Focus: | | | | This is a highly visible position with a critical impact on the | | company's future.
