Description
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates looking to start their career in accounting. As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions and support the overall financial operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including ledgers, journals, and account reconciliation
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist with accounts payable and receivable transactions
Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information
Assist with internal and external audits
Help with budgeting and forecasting activities
Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Provide support to the accounting team with various projects and tasks as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Internship or prior work experience in accounting is a plus, but not required
Basic knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
