Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of a Full Time Security Access Control Supervisor at a Tech site in Cupertino, CA .
Pay: $40.00 / hour. Weekly Pay
Shift: Monday - Friday 0800 - 1645
Valid driver's license required, minimum 1 year
(Must have 2 + years of customer service, supervisory and security experience and strong computer skills)
The Security Access Control Supervisor is responsible for leading a shift of personnel within the Access Control team. The Security Access Control Supervisor will plan, prioritize, supervise, and review operational work as well as providing direction to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Supervision and development of all Access Control Team members to ensure required skillset and proficiency required by client; train qualified personnel. Ensure consistent deliverance of high level customer service that complies with clients vision. Partner with client to ensure personnel are provided with necessary equipment and equipment is accounted for. Maintain and ensure adherence to existing access control policies and procedures, including but not limited to; Device activations, VidSys/LDB configurations and plotting, GS Map maintenance, Ticket review/support. Maintain current working knowledge of all access and electronic security systems the team uses; Receive shift pass down information, and conduct shift briefings to provide all updates, assignments, and training; Ensure all shifts, including all shift supervisor(s), are provided with the same information, especially after the weekly team syncs. Provide direction to access control team members, utilizing proper judgment to solve problems and to escalate matters as needed; Provide direction and guidance with new and existing policies and procedures, as necessary; Supervisor is responsible for quality assurance of all application and drafting support mappers required daily tasks. Work with GS Apps and Security Vendors to diagnose and resolve priority system/software issues while providing SOC support. Perform audits of systems, as assigned by the client. Review current processes for accuracy, and provide feedback where necessary. Maintain the Access Control Mapping Chorus with all updated processes.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
Capably utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Training Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for effective business management
Enforce Contract Standards
Administers site safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for security officers including vehicle / driving safety as appropriate to corporate procedures
Prepared to participate in unemployment hearings
Enforces Allied Universal’s policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos
Able to:
Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
