Our Program Managers lead, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate, and execute a project or collection of projects. They ensure achievement of financial, schedule, and technical performance objectives. Candidate should demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, leadership, problem-solving skills. This role supports existing production lines and new business as it transitions to production. Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.

In this role, the individual will:

  • Be accountable for all major product lines released to production for San Jose business, ensuring performance objectives are met and contract compliance

  • Support growth of strategic partnerships with customers to ensure alignment and to maximize capability for our customers

  • Demonstrate an exceptional ability to engage with customers and develop an understanding of their requirements and desired capabilities

  • Communicate effectively to solve complex challenges and keep stakeholders informed/engaged

  • Deliver clear and concise executive level presentations and messages to enable the leadership team to quickly assess the health and needs of the product lines

  • Contribute to the product line as a member of the leadership team

  • Ensure that product lines receive the necessary support and services from the functional organizations to achieve program objectives

  • Provide holistic leadership while promoting a positive culture emphasizing teamwork, inclusiveness, and a fundamental respect for each person s / organization s contributions

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format , with time split between working onsite and remotely.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelors Degree with 12 years of experience, or Masters Degree with 10 years of experience

  • Experience working with multi-discipline cross functional project teams, utilizing strong communication and collaboration skills to successfully manage assigned product lines

  • Lead through inspiration and encouragement and foster a culture of innovative problem solving, performance excellence, and continuous improvement on the program team to deliver affordable, effective, and dependable outcomes

  • Experience integrating scope, schedule and budget for the successful execution of program objectives

  • Demonstrated management skills on both large, strategic programs and small cost constrained programs. Experience with cost reduction and ROI analysis

  • Exhibit sound interpersonal skills to interface, coordinate, and negotiate with company personnel, customers, and suppliers

  • Experience reviewing and approving Basis of Estimates and proposals including assessment of associated risks and opportunities

  • Ability to understand and communicate with senior management regarding program performance status (cost/schedule/resources/risk) as well as performance to annual financial objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability as a customer advocate with successful resolution of customer issues

  • Exceptional ability to allocate and assign resources to complex technical tasks and manage the resources toward efficient utilization

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities

  • Ability to develop and execute a program schedule and subsequently track status against that schedule

  • Experience with product life cycle management

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and audits

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Master's degree

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent certification

  • Developing strategies and proposals for new business pursuits

  • Experience with semiconductor products and/or medical device in production environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
