Opportunity Overview

Are you an engineering student enrolled in an electrical engineering degree program and interested in RF testing? Then join our team collaborating with industry leaders.

LitePoint at our San Jose, CA facility is looking for a summer 2025 intern to collaborate with our engineers and participate in the latest connectivity testing technology.

As part of this team, the intern will support application engineers in developing IQfact+ that performs automatic RF testing utilizing LitePoint testers.

Additionally, the selected intern will participate in troubleshooting the challenges in the real-world testing environment.

  • Currently working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on digital communication system, RF, or DSP, Master’s degree preferred

  • DSP, sampling theory, FFT, or digital modulation knowledge.

  • WiFi, Bluetooth, or Zigbee physical layer knowledge is a plus.

  • Programming and Scripting, Python, JavaScript, and C+

    • Knowledge working with lab equipment – VSG, VSA, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Teamwork spirit and quick learning capabilities

  • Must be available for a minimum of 3 months Summer 2025, and available to work on-site at our facility in San Jose, CA

    Compensation:

    The base salary range for this role is $58,240-$107,640. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
