AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is looking for an Operations Analyst in Costa Rica with deep operational background to assist the Sales Operations teams in supporting our AWS Field Sales teams. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non- technical business units, as well as across multiple geographies. Successful members of this team collaborate effectively to solve operational problems, successfully meet SLA and accuracy targets, and are comfortable working from a ticket queue.

Key job responsibilities

*Serves as trusted advisor to Sales Operations and Sales teams and provide support on account and territory management requests and other manual business operations workstreams

*Quickly analyze root causes for tool and system concerns and establish next steps to be communicated appropriately to internal stakeholders

*Accurate and timely execution of manual workflows to support larger Sales Operations mechanisms

*Participates in the improvement of work processes and provide inputs based on internal customer feedback and process flow deep dives  Works with other cross functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner

*Occasionally retrieve and evaluate data using Excel and other data management/BI systems while ensuring data accuracy and security

San Francisco De Heredia, CRI

Basic Qualifications

*Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business or similar

*Advance English communication, both verbally and written

*2+ years of relevant professional experience in an operations support environment

*Excel skills (Pivot tables, lookups)

*Experience working with a queue of requests with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Accuracy targets against Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Preferred Qualifications

*Functional experience with quantitative, analytical and organizational skills

*Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

*Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects

*Highly organized, excellent multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations

*Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role

*Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
