Our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging ensures an environment where you can truly thrive. *Overview As a Site Survey Technician, you'll play a crucial role in our mission by conducting site surveys for upcoming solar projects. You'll collaborate with various teams within Sunrun, providing essential data to our Design and Engineering group to accurately build and permit project plans. *Duties and Responsibilities**

  • Conduct Site Surveys: Perform scheduled site surveys, gather site information, take clear photos, and prepare comprehensive packages for downstream teams to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Detail-Oriented Analysis: Provide detailed assessments of structural and electrical systems, roof quality, and precise measurements.
  • Drone Operations: Obtain FAA Part 107 certification to safely operate sUAS (drones) in approved residential areas.
  • Customer Interaction: Build positive customer experiences through integrity, effective communication, and addressing any project concerns.
  • Efficient Record-Keeping: Use software systems to record task progress promptly and accurately.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the branch admin team with organizational tasks related to site survey objectives.

Qualifications for Success

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of field construction experience is helpful.
  • Requirements: Must be 21 years or older, possess a valid drivers license, and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Certification: Pass the FAA Part 107 knowledge exam within 90 days of employment and acquire a Remote Pilot rating for sUAS commercial operations.
  • Preferred Skills: Drone experience and/or remote pilot rating, previous PV design or PV Electrical experience.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Teamwork: Motivated team player with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic digital literacy.
