Robert Half Project Accounting Manager in San Francisco, California
Description We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team located in SAN FRANCISCO, California, United States. In this role, you will be involved in a wide range of accounting functions, including project budgeting, general ledger accounting, accounts receivable and payable management, and project closeout. You will also be required to work with Sage 100 and handle journal entries, monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee project budgeting and manage general ledger accounting operations
• Handle Work in Progress (WIP) and Project Accounting
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Utilize Sage 100 for various accounting functions
• Prepare and post journal entries as required
• Coordinate and execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Work closely with Project Managers for project accounting and closeout
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Review and improve accounting systems and procedures
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. Requirements
