Meta Program Manager, Strategic Business Support - Data Center Design, Engineering and Construction in San Francisco, California
Summary:
Meta is seeking an experienced professional to join our Technical Operations Team within our Design Engineering and Construction (DEC) Organization as a Program Manager, Strategic Business Support. They will lead monthly project and region health reviews as well as program manage global strategic initiatives to drive improvements that enable efficient and predictable delivery of datacenter capacity.Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates and upon which our innovative services are delivered. Building, operating and retrofitting data centers the "right" way is synonymous with ensuring high uptime, capacity availability and capital conservation. The DEC team thinks from chip to chiller (or electrical substation), determining configurations and ensuring maximum efficiency of our compute infrastructure.The Strategic Business Support team within Technical Operations supports the Design, Engineering and Construction organization and has three primary focus areas:1. Managing the execution performance management processes This includes coordinating reoccurring internal engagements with numerous stakeholders, reviewing and aligning teams on results driven performance metrics, and driving performance improvements through action.2. Managing alignment of initiatives to business objectives across the organization and leading execution of various strategic initiatives to ensure the organization is prioritizing and executing effectively to enable long-term business needs.3. Aligning, developing, and maintaining our business intelligence eco-system to efficiently identify performance gaps and opportunities to allow for both immediate and long-term performance improvements.

Program Manager, Strategic Business Support - Data Center Design, Engineering and Construction Responsibilities:
Program manage global process improvements from ideation, to execution, to roll-out ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze quantitative and qualitative execution performance information with functional leads across the organization to ensure focus and alignment on improvement opportunities.
Coordinate and facilitate reoccurring internal Health Reviews with functional stakeholders to ensure consistent and efficient evaluation of performance and leading the teams to corrective actions.
Drive consistency across teams, regions and over time to gain efficiency in execution.
25% travel to office locations and construction sites is required.
Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years' experience in capital projects in design, construction and/or operations.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, data science or equivalent degree
Proven track record of enabling business decisions through data informed insights
Experience with the various stages of a capital development program – design through construction
Experience assessing project and portfolio execution performance while aligning with functional leadership in a matrix organization.
Experience with project management processes and systems in the areas of scheduling, budgeting, quality control, safety, cost forecasting, change management and pre-construction
Experience organizing, prioritizing, executing, and communicating numerous concurrent workstreams across a range of stakeholders and topics with minimal oversight.

Experience working as an owner and operator of critical infrastructure
Master's degree in construction management, engineering, data science, analytics or equivalent
Successful implementation of process improvements using lean principles across global organization
Experience extracting, analyzing and visualizing data in business intelligence systems such as Tableau or PowerBI
Experience leveraging Program Management Tools such as Asana or Smartsheet
Public Compensation:
$122,000/year to $169,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
