Our client is a massive global fund administrator that is building a significant presence here in the bay area, beating out competition and disrupting the asset servicing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of fund accountants to deliver high-quality reports to clients.

  • Provide accounting services for private equity funds, including reviewing and processing transactions and other outputs for external clients and investors.

  • Support client and investor queries.

  • Review the fund accounting team’s fee calculations (management fees, capital calls, distributions, carried interest, and waterfalls) to ensure compliance with fund terms.

  • Review investor capital call and distribution notices.

  • Prepare ad-hoc fund and investor reports and analyses.

  • Review quarterly and annual financial reports.

  • Oversee SPV accounting.

  • Assist clients with CRS/FATCA, VAT, K1s, K3s, and other reporting requirements.

  • Help clients resolve audit inquiries from external auditors during year-end audits.

  • Engage in pre-project discussions with clients to define detailed service models.

  • Assist with the onboarding of existing funds and the launch of new funds.

  • Participate in developing technology solutions for complex reporting and data requirements.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and process improvements to enhance team performance.

    Requirements

Key Requirements for Fund Accounting Manager:

  • 6+ years of fund accounting – private equity, hedge fund, venture capital, real estate, etc.

  • Open to people with fund admin or direct fund experience

  • Open to people straight out of public if they have audited financial services clients

  • Management experience
