Exciting Opportunity! Accounting Analyst, Finance
Location: Menlo Park (full-time office)
Salary: $85-$100K (potential for more) + 10% bonus + excellent benefits and growth

With nearly $6 billion in assets under management, we invest globally in a comprehensive endowment-style approach across five significant asset classes: fixed income, absolute return, equities (long-only and long/short), private equity (venture capital, distressed, and buy-out), and real assets (real estate and natural resources).
Role Overview - Accounting Analyst, Finance:
Successful candidates will become part of the firm's Finance Team, handling fund accounting for a range of the firm's funds. This role extends to active participation in establishing accounting and finance controls, as well as advancing best practices for the firm's partnerships and business operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting processes for selected firm's funds
Coordinate and review quarterly administration accounting packages, partner capital, and financial statements, as well as calls/distributions to partners
Calculate, report, and maintain fund analytics
Coordinate year-end audit work with auditors
Assist in preparing tax estimates and tax returns for the funds
Ensure consistent practices and controls with larger finance team
Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices
Assist in assigned special projects.
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
1-3 years of professional experience preferred, ideally with a Big4 audit or tax background or industry exposure
Strong quantitative and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent communicative skills
Flexibility and meticulousness, with the ability to take the initiative and manage multiple projects in a team environment
Plan to Placement:
1st Round: Video call with 1-3 team members
2nd Round: Video call with 1 or 2 managing directors
3rd Round: Meeting with firm's owner
