Our client in the HR/Payroll Services industry is seeking a Payroll/Tax Compliance Analyst to join their Tax compliance team in San Dimas, CA.
Job Title: Payroll/Tax Compliance Analyst
Location: Hybrid in San Dimas, CA
Pay Rate: Contract, $32/hr W2
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Payroll Tax professional to join the client's team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with tax agencies and payroll taxes, along with a strong knowledge of filing requirements. This role requires advanced spreadsheet skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to analyze complex tax-related data. A background in payroll and tax compliance is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and ensure compliance with payroll tax filing requirements.
Liaise with tax agencies to resolve payroll tax-related issues.
Analyze and reconcile payroll tax data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Utilize advanced spreadsheet tools to organize, track, and analyze tax-related information.
Assist in payroll tax reporting and documentation.
Stay up to date with payroll tax regulations and requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure payroll tax processes align with company policies.
Qualifications :
Experience with payroll tax compliance and reporting.
Accounting knowledge.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with tax filing requirements and regulations.
Payroll background is a plus; tax background is a big plus.
