Description

Our client, a reputable property management company based in San Diego, specializes in managing a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. They are committed to providing exceptional service to property owners and tenants while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Property Management Assistant to support their property management team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of managing a diverse range of tasks related to property management. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist property managers with day-to-day operations, including responding to tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, and lease administration.

  • Coordinate property showings and assist with tenant move-ins and move-outs.

  • Prepare and process lease agreements, renewals, and other documentation.

  • Maintain accurate and organized property records and files.

  • Assist with property inspections and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

  • Support marketing efforts for vacant properties, including online listings and coordinating with prospective tenants.

  • Handle rent collections, process payments, and assist with financial reporting.

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair requests, liaise with contractors, and follow up on work orders.

  • Provide general administrative support to the property management team, including scheduling appointments and meetings.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

    Requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in property management or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and property management software.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and demands.

  • Knowledge of property management best practices and local regulations is a plus.
