Actalent Program Manager in San Diego, California

Job Title: Program ManagerJob Description

The role of a Program Manager involves managing accounts and partnerships as an acting buyer/planner, preparing quotes for customers in response to RFQs, and generating purchase orders. The successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with customers, meeting their requirements and timelines, and working closely with the engineering team on Buying/Planning activities.

Hard Skills

  • Experience purchasing electronic components

  • Familiarity with PCB Assembly, SMT, or Contract Manufacturing

  • ERP/MRP experience (Activate, NetSuite or similar)

Soft Skills

  • Effective communication

  • Customer relationship management

  • Time management

  • Ability to work in a team

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Diego, California.

Work Environment

Our work environment is a blend of Office and Manufacturing settings. The job is 100% Onsite and the work hours are from 6:00am-2:30pm (flexible start time, can start as late as 7am). You will be joining a team of 4 other Program Managers and will be reporting to the Director of Program Management that sits out of San Clemente. Our office in San Diego hosts 70 dedicated staff members.
