Position: Front Desk Coordinator
Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Overview: Are you an organized and customer-focused professional looking to make a difference in the educational field? Robert Half is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Coordinator for our client, a reputable tutoring company, to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and providing excellent service to students, parents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications.
Schedule tutoring sessions and manage the calendar for tutors and students.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and session details.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
Assist with billing inquiries and process payments.
Ensure the front desk area is tidy and presentable.
Coordinate with tutors and staff to ensure a seamless experience for all clients.
Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
Proven experience as a front desk coordinator, receptionist, or similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Customer-service oriented with a friendly and positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience in an educational or tutoring environment is preferred.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
