Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to support one of our valued clients in the San Diego area. This role is tailored to a growing, dynamic organization, offering a friendly work environment and a chance to contribute to the client’s financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the company’s accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain and reconcile all general ledger transactions, including posting journal entries.
Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and monthly closing procedures.
Assist with payroll preparation and ensure compliance with local/state payroll regulations.
Maintain financial records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights to the management team.
Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve discrepancies in a professional manner.
Requirements
2+ years of bookkeeping or related experience (preferred within small- to medium-sized businesses).
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet creation and formula functions.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
