Position Summary// The Event Coordinator performs a variety of key strategic and tactical functions required for the successful implementation of ICU Medical’s multifaceted trade show and event marketing program. The position requires a hands-on individual with exceptional organizational and communications skills who possesses aproactive, collaborative, customer-focused work style and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. In addition, the Event Coordinator is responsible for working with the marketing communications team to assure timely and targeted identification and delivery of all pre/post show promotional activities to support our trade show and closed-loop marketing programs in addition to providing input into the overall event selection and recommendation process, as well. * * Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Planning and executing all aspects of the company’s regional tradeshow and industry event initiatives. * Managing the event budget, coordinating logistics, managing event marketing materials and guest speakers, and ensuring the development and delivery of market-specific and appropriate product/signage/literature * Traveling to events and providing on-site tactical support, including customer-facing service/support as needed. * Coordinating and fostering effective vendor/partner relationships to support the business. * * Knowledge & Skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Highly collaborative and creative; action-oriented and hands-on. · Strong customer service skills. · Ability to exercise good judgement and decision making. · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. · Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. · Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience · Must be at least 18 years of age. · Bachelor degree in Communication/Marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university. · Minimum of 2 years of experience in event coordination and/or project management, and client relations experience is strongly preferred. · Previous experience working in an agency, or an in-house corporate communications group preferred. Work Environment · This is largely a sedentary role but may need to continuously stand at various trade shows or events. · This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. · Typically requires travel 5-20% of the time. * * Salary Range - $64,000-86,000 * * ICU Medical is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
