Hyatt Hotel Full Time Server/ Banquet Scrub Captain in SAN ANTONIO, Texas

This role will serve as a Full Time Event Server and will also pick up Banquet Captain shifts as needed.
Event Serversare responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. They make sure function space visually appealing and present the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
The Event Services Supervisoror Banquet Captain is responsible for making the function space visually appealing and presenting the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include oversight of the general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment. This person may assist in scheduling required staff for banquet functions.

Qualifications:
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Experience and a thorough understanding of banquet service
A desire to exceed guest expectations.
Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be TABC and Food Handlers certified
Team oriented Leadership skills
