Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in San Antonio, Texas

Description We are offering a contract for a permanent Full Charge Bookkeeper position in San Antonio, Texas. This role is in the financial services sector and focuses on providing comprehensive bookkeeping and payroll functions to ensure accurate financial management for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process daily QuickBooks transaction entries to maintain precise financial data

• Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable, including the preparation and tracking of invoices and resolving any discrepancies

• Calculate and process client payrolls accurately using QuickBooks or equivalent payroll software

• Ensure timely payment of payroll taxes through the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS)

• Handle quarterly and annual payroll compliance tasks, including filing necessary reports and resolving discrepancies

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records in line with company and client policies

• Assist clients with the preparation and distribution of invoices and payment reminders

• Prepare financial reports and dashboards as requested for internal and client use

• Ensure compliance with universal accounting standards and company procedures

• Support the team with general administrative duties as needed to achieve organizational goals. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Capability to perform all Accounting Functions.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Ability to prepare and manage the Annual Budget.

• Expertise in Cash Flow Analysis.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Enterprise, Quickbooks Online, QuickBooks Pro.

• Certification as a Quickbooks ProAdvisor is a plus.

• Familiarity with Quickbooks Premier.

• Experience with Full Cycle Payroll.

• Knowledge of Payroll Taxes.

• Ability to prepare Profit and Loss statements.

• Experience in creating and maintaining Balance Sheets.
