Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to join the Executive Transport team in San Antonio, Texas !
Come join BDS Mobility, Surveillance, & Bombers Division, and the unique opportunity to work on the next generation’s Executive Transport Aircraft. At Boeing, our Associate Procurement Agent will use their expertise to support supply chain activities at the Boeing Company. In joining this program, you will be part of an outstanding team of supply chain experts making history as we shape this one of a kind next generation Aircraft.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Shift Work:
This position is for 1st shift.
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
1+ year of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
1+ years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
1+ years of experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement.
1+ years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.
1+ years of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.
1+ years 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
1+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
1+ years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range : $60,350 - $74,550
