Summary of Position

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team within the Billing team in the Finance business unit. This position would be responsible to manage incoming payments, properly track them into the system, and maintain accurate bookkeeping records. They will manage multiple bank accounts and create reports related to those accounts for staff accountants. It is required that this person has a firm understanding of multiple currency transactions and currency conversions as well as a firm understanding of basic taxes. This position will be reconciling the company’s bank statements and will need experience managing merchant accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage credit card gateways and generate and compare reports for discrepancies.

  • Create reports and enter payments data into multiple accounting systems such as Dynamics SL.

  • Assist and implement new processes as the company continues to grow.

  • Manage bank reports for multiple bank accounts tied to multiple entities to pass to staff accountants.

  • Ability to liaison with sales team members to reconcile payments.

  • Other job responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting

  • 1-3 years of entry level experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or billing

  • Knowledge of accounting software programs specifically Dynamics SL

  • Knowledge of payment Gateway software such as Cybersource

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Familiar with SAP S/4 Hana and Salesforce

Reporting Relationships

  • This position will report to the Billing Manager and has no direct reports.

Work Environment

  • Remote work environment with a preference to be located in the DMV area or within EST time zone.

The base salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $65,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and years of experience. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
