University of Utah Sr. Data Analyst (PERM) in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks for a full-time Sr. Data Analyst. Duties: The experience requirements can be satisfied through employment, training or an academic program. This position supports University development activities through database administration by: writing programs and reports and identifying, investigating, and resolving performance, capacity, and scalability issues that arise in these deliverables; coordinating changes to databases and modifying existing databases through data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes; administering, testing, and implementing databases of visualizations and dashboards; specifying user and user access levels for reports and dashboards created in order to coordinate security measures to safeguard reporting and database resources; testing changes to database systems, including reports and dashboards; gathering requirements to elaborate and document specifications; performing related QA and tests on changes to database systems, reports, and dashboards. Requires at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 18 months of experience with database procedural programming; SQL; and BI technologies.
