Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Part-Time Sales Associate. In this role, you will be the face of the Campus Store, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service and looking for a flexible part-time opportunity.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and help them find products or navigate the Store.

Provide product recommendations and information based on customers’ needs.

Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.

Maintain an organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.

Assist with receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments.

Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and goals.

Uphold Store policies and procedures regarding security, safety, and customer service.

Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed.

Support special events and promotions, including home football games.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of retail sales experience; a minimum of one year of experience supervising employees and buying merchandise; and effective oral and written communication skills required. A commitment to the concept of excellence in service is expected from the incumbent. An Associate Degree in Business, or a related field, or two years of related college work along with the above requirements or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education) is preferred. Other specific preferences may be called for, depending on the unique needs in a given area.

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong customer service orientation.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and all home football games.
