Fluidra's looking for a PRODUCTION PLANNER to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE As a Production Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for creating production schedules, optimizing inventory levels, and collaborating with different departments to streamline processes. Your analytical prowess will be put to the test as you analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to boost efficiency. Working closely with the production teams, you'll prioritize orders, tackle issues as they arise, and maximize output while adhering to customer requirements and company objectives. · Develop production schedules to meet demand while optimizing resource utilization.
· Work with the inventory team to monitor levels and coordinate the production schedule accordingly.
· Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and workflow optimizations.
· Work closely with the production teams to prioritize orders and allocate resources effectively.
· Assist in developing production plans aligned with customer requirements and company goals.
· Utilize production planning software and tools, including ERP systems and advanced Excel functions (Pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.), to facilitate planning and analysis.
· Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to coordinate activities, address issues, and ensure alignment with production objectives.
· Manage work orders to our production floor and supply chain
· Track and follow-up on dispatched work orders
· Adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic manufacturing environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
WHAT WE SEEK · Experience with ERP systems, Epicor is a plus. · Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including Pivot tables, v-lookup, etc. · 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
