R1 RCM Payer Accountability Specialist in Salt Lake City, Utah

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Payer Accountability Specialist to join our new payer accountability team. This team is pivotal in managing all payer escalation work. In this role, you will focus on analyzing data trends, enhancing existing processes, and supporting the arbitration process to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the payer accountability team to manage and resolve payer escalations.
Analyze data trends to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
Enhance current processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in payer accountability.
Support the arbitration process by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Maintain detailed records and documentation related to payer escalations and arbitration cases.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of processes and outcomes.
Provide regular updates and reports on payer accountability activities and improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
Experience in payer management, data analysis, or a related field is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Excel and/or SQL based platforms.
EPIC experience preferred.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $15.45 - $24.29 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
