The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Test & Evaluation Technical Services Specialist to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT . This role will involve activities including, but not limited to: logistics associated with routing calibrated assets to remote Boeing labs and suppliers for calibration services (shippers, purchase contracts, follow-up, and supplier backlog management). This position may also involve aspects of Test Asset Management (TAM) and Property Management including asset tagging, redeployment, storage and surplus. This role also requires basic knowledge of calibrated Measurement & Test Equipment (M&TE)/ process equipment, calibration standards, process specifications, equipment drawings, and M&TE /process equipment manufacturer's performance specifications.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Update equipment status using established systems and complete associated paperwork

  • Prioritize and perform work according to automated daily report list, hot list, or as assigned by lead technician

  • Provide information and clarification to customers on TAM processes

  • Work with other employees engaged in the calibration and certification of M&TE

  • Perform visual check of M&TE/process equipment for discrepancies and wear

  • Perform computations necessary to analyze asset data (Logistics, availability, performance/ reliability, etc.)

  • Perform logistics associated with routing calibrated assets to remote Boeing labs and suppliers for calibration services

  • Perform tasks associated with Test Asset Management and Property Management including asset tagging, redeployment, storage and surplus

  • Identify, document, and route non-conforming items in accordance with metrology lab processes

  • Perform review and certification of calibration certificates provided by Boeing approved calibration suppliers

  • Works under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving

  • 1+ years of experience in test asset or metrology

  • 1+ years of experience scanning items into an asset management system

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with ARIBA procurement system

  • Associate's Degree or higher and/or related military training in M&TE management, logistics and Metrology

  • Experience working with Metrology teams and coordinating movement of calibrated Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE)

  • 3+ years of experience in a calibration laboratory &/or facilitating calibrations

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $47,600 – $64,400
