Summary

The maintenance supervisor will lead a team of mechanics who diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.

The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with an annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise a shift maintenance team to include hiring, training, and developing the team to meet the needs of the department

  • Provide safe working conditions for associates and ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed

  • Provide technical support regarding routine and preventative maintenance requirements

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures

  • Repair and rebuild mechanical and electrical equipment

  • Monitor the work of external contractors to ensure contract specifications complete work

  • Ensure all work is completed by all Federal, state, and Local environmental and safety requirements

Minimum Education

  • HS Diploma or GED required

  • Advanced vocational or technical training preferred

Experience Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of prior supervisory experience in a similar industry

  • Understanding of manufacturing technologies

  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical processes and equipment

  • Understanding of CMS systems, PMs, and data entry

  • Understanding and monitoring KPI's

  • Strong communication, math, analytical, and interpersonal skills

  • Understanding of standard software applications

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Able to move freely throughout the Division facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), carrying tools and equipment (0-100 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus. Required to travel to remote Division facilities.
