TKDA Civil Engineering Technician - Roadway & Utilities / Municipal in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Our employee-owned and integrated team of multi-disciplined engineering and design professionals is looking for a CAD Designer / Technician who has experience supporting design, construction oversight and inspection for varied municipal projects. As a member of our team, you will work alongside other Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural professionals to provide civil design on multi-discipline public and private projects, including roadway, utility infrastructure and stormwater management systems and more. TKDA New HQ | 2025 Required Qualifications Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience with projects including site layouts, roadway design, vehicular and/or pedestrian access, site grading, utility plan and profiles, and plan preparation. Experience in supervising and/or inspection of construction Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, etc.). Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills; Ability to participate in project team meetings and interact directly with clients and technical professionals on a frequent basis. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Advantageous Qualifications Previous experience performing surveying operations including operation of instruments, recording and interpretation of data, and survey processing. Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, site visits, etc.; Occasional overnight travel may be required. EOE of Minorities/Females/Vets/Disability
